Armory.io just announced that it secured series-B $28 million funding, which brings this commercial spinnaker outfit’s total funding to over $40 million.

Very happy for Armory! Spinnaker is a fantastic technology that supplements the already awesome Kubernetes to make continuous deployment even more accessible for developers to adopt cloud-native development.

In my eyes, it’s part of the holy trinity of cloud-native computing

• Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Continuous Deployment (Spinnaker)
• Code-defined-networking (ServiceMesh, i.e. Istio)
